Oneness

Joel Goldsmith wrote, “When we desire only a God experience heaven itself will open and pour itself out at our feet in the form of every kind of good.” When we recognize our oneness with Spirit and each other and behave like we believe it then the doors of heaven open and we are blessed.

In the Gospel of Luke someone asks Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?” Jesus responds by telling the story of the Good Samaritan. The moral is we are all neighbors and worthy of love, respect, compassion and kindness.

Raymond Charles Barker wrote that when we repeat the phrase, “Be still and know that I am God,” we are not being blasphemous. What we mean is there is a divine center in each of us. And what we are saying is, “I am the potential, I am the creativity, I am the possibility, I am that which shall be.” When we recognize our connection to Spirit there are no limits in our life.  Eric Butterworth makes a similar point when we write, “We are human in expression, but divine in creation and limitless in potential.”

Years ago I wrote, “The truth is we have a power within us that stands ready, willing and able to solve all of our issues. It is the power of our word. It is our own divine nature. It can lead us from bondage to freedom, but we must do the work, and the work is not difficult. It is simply creating an opportunity for God to express. We don’t need to will it, we don’t need to force it, we just need to let Spirit love us as only it can.”
