God’s Beloved

We need to consciously love, honor and respect ourselves. We are Spirit’s heirs and self-love is at the core of our well-being. The only way we can enjoy life is to be at peace with our self. Most of us would be shocked at how we speak to our self. We would never speak to someone else the way we speak to our self. The Buddha said, “You can search the universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you yourself are and that person is not to be found anywhere.”

In Luke 12:32 Jesus says, “Fear not it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.” Would that promise be made if Spirit did not love us? We are all precious to Spirit. Look at how the Prodigal Son was welcomed back after he turned his back on his Father. That is love.

Edwaine Gaines says that if we want something and we deny ourselves that is, “Spiritual Laziness.” God wants us to play big. Celebrate your desires. She says, “Life is about appreciating everything it has to offer. Yogi Amrit Desai wrote, “Each day affirm there is nothing in this world that can stop you from transforming your life, opening your heart, loving yourself, and sharing your love with everyone you encounter.”´
